When Darren Viner became the security director at Scottsdale, Ariz.-based HonorHealth this year, he understood that workplace violence was a growing concern in healthcare.
“Healthcare workers are used to dealing with situations where they may have combative patients or family members,” he says. “You have people who are not necessarily in the best of moods.
